Happy Friday Cougars!

It was wonderful to see so many at our Back to School Night yesterday.

Here are the slides from my part of the night. If you were unable to come, check these out and let us know if you have any questions. You can reach out to your classroom teacher through SeeSaw for their information.

Milk Caps for Moolah!

If you get milk delivery from Longmont Dairy, please save the caps and bring them in. There is a donation box by the front office. This helps us to raise money for more books for our library.

Health Statements:

Your child’s statement of health is good for one full calendar year. Please make sure you get those updated when they are due. If you need the form, it is linked on our website. Thank you!

Garden: We built and planted a garden on the north side of the school last spring. Feel free to visit the garden and harvest anything that is ready. Enjoy!!

PTA:

Welcome to Campbell ELC! The PTA is so excited for the 2024/2025 school year! It was so wonderful meeting everyone at Back to School Night. Here are a few updates for everyone:

  • Our first PTA Meeting will be on August 26th at 5:30pm in the Family Center. If you cannot attend in person, we will send out a GoogleMeet link to our email list. If you haven't already done so please enter your information into this google form to be added to our list. After our general meeting, our Principal, Holly Sexton, will be talking about the "State of the School" and discussing our social and emotional learning strategies.

  • The PTA is sponsoring a Grumpy Monkey Play Acting Class with the Arvada Center on Friday, August 30th and September 27th at 4pm.  Students are outfitted in costumes and become actors in an adapted version of this children’s book about big feelings and friendship. If you'd like your child to attend, sign up here!  The PTA is providing this program free of charge but if you'd like to donate towards covering the cost of the program please donate on our Givebacks page

  • Over the summer, we found out that Campbell ELC has been named a School of Excellence by the National PTA. This national designation recognizes our PTA and school as an example of how strong, effective family-school partnerships enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students, which is more important than ever.

  • If you'd like to join the PTA before our next meeting, you may choose from different packages on our Givebacks page

Best,   Ally (PTA President)

Website: Our website is a great place to find information and any info from me. Check it out regularly.

Picture Day - September 5th!

Order forms will come home next week for our picture day on the 5th.

Thanks for all you do and have a wonderful weekend!

Go Cougars!
